Tiffany's Today

Do you love Art,  Sculpture, Music , Theater and ALL that is considered the Arts?    Most of us have an appreciation for at  least two or three of these and are very proud of our taste and opinions about them.   Their was a very talented man named Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 1800’s  who made Tiffany Style Table  Lamps and Tiffany Style Window Panels many others pieces of art form.  An art form that is  still going strong today.

If you feel like adding another piece of art to your home and cant afford an original piece from the late 1800’s, and how many of us can.   You can still have a wonderful display of Tiffany Style art in your home with a Tiffany Style Window Panel, or Tiffany Style Table Lamp or Tiffany Style Floor Lamp.  Tiffany Style Lighting is so gorgeous and is another artistic way to add elegance and art to a home, not to mention the wonderful light  and ambiance they produce.

Show us your Tiffany Style,  Stained Glass  Lamp.   Alright.  You cant really do this for me, but I am actually always curious.   I love to see other people’s taste and WHY you like it.  Maybe you could tell me what style you like and why and where you would put this beautiful piece of art.  For example, a Tiffany Style Dragonfly Lamp is a very strong and almost wild and beautifully bold in its design.  I know a couple of people that own them and this is their taste and choice.  Wow.  I find that so interesting, as I melt over a different kind of intricate designs or one with grapes and leaves, and roses.  I have another friend who is drawn to Tiffany Style Mission  Lamps.

If the current lamp in your home is in there because it was on sale and you knew it would give off the much needed light in your home.  You might consider branching out of the norm and choosing a beautiful  lamp and tasteful  piece of art, like a Tiffany Style Table Lamp or a Tiffany Style Floor Lamp.  A Tiffany Style Lamp that give off  a hint of your own personal style.  One that would make you proud that you had the good sense  and taste to even buy one for your own home.

Maybe some darker blues in the lamp would be nice.   The bedspread or comforter another shade of blue or white, with pillow in another shade of blue.  Different shades of blue can all go together.  Trying to match colors exactly can be over kill of a certain color, especially when you already have a wall or two filled with one color.    So paint those walls,  add a couple of Tiffany Style Lamps and enjoy one of the easiest ways to freshen up and make a room seem brand new.

OK, lets see.   Keys in the door, unlock door and walk into your home or apartment.   Wow, what a cool chair…. no, sofa….no, picture…. no,  rug, anything?  I think,  from what I have seen in the average, hard working, raising kids home,   is this.   The wow factor in the Living Room is the family’s TV set.  Most are bigger than mine, which I admire simply because you need some good room now days for a large TV.   One time, I did walk into a Living Room that had a huge sofa set that looked like it could sleep 6 comfortably, and a friend of mine had an antique chair recovered and I wanted desperately to have one of my own.  These both had a wow reaction from me.  Other then that, every body has pretty much the same cozy  homes that we all do, and some have a wonderfully giant size TV and it is the only real focal point  in the room.

I think, if you have a lovely and tasteful family living area, including that giant TV set, and there is room for a little bit of color and pizzaz.   A Tiffany Style Floor Lamp or Tiffany Style Table Lamp could really add the WOW factor to the room.   Give that  ginormous TV set a little competition with the elegance and ambiance that  Tiffany Style Lighting  might add.  It could be the first thing that catches the eye  of a visitor and not the TV set. 

It is a fun and pampered feeling when you walk into an office and everything seems so feminine and frilly.  The surrounding make you feel cozy and girlie.  You enjoy your visit, the staff and the atmosphere.   I have been in a couple of pretty lady like offices with almost a feminine boutique atmosphere.  I  liked it.  A feminine room can be bold reds or pinks and blacks,  or  warm colors  of pinks, creams, lavenders, soft greens .  Furniture can really very with taste and budget.
