Lamps have an unusual attraction for me.  There has always been this love and fetish for more lamps than I could possibly put in one home, let alone one  room.  Lamps can be pretty important to the beauty of a home .   I do not think  everyone puts the same emphasis on these potential beauties for your home.  They give you light when its dark,   right.   Wallah, what more do you need?

The right Lamp or set of Lamps can create an unbelievable Elegance and create some terrific ambiance and charm that  might be missing in that perfect decor of yours.  Tiffany Style Floor Lamps or Tiffany Style Table Lamps are gorgeous and they are NO ordinary addition to a home.   The hard part is picking which style you like best.

Are these cool, or what?   Large , yes, they are NOT small.  They can stand any where from  30 to 42 inches tall and are around 10  to 12 inches wide up at the base.   This would be a  decorative place for  a cascading floral arrangement , if you  placed the lamps on the floor . They would also  be awesome higher up in pairs, one on each end table.

The end results are going to be so unique and  you could create the coolest, cozy, hang out atmosphere . Tiffany Style Pedestal Lamps are beautiful and one of a kind. Some thing different for a change.

Tiffany Style Lamps are Gorgeous.  We already know this.  I  have never met any one who did not think that Tiffany Style Lamps were not beautiful.  A lot of people  know about the history  of Louis Comfort Tiffany and a couple very talented employees that created these hand crafted works of art back in the late 1800s.

The fact is , the Tiffany Style Floor Lamps and the Tiffany Style Table Lamps  and the Tiffany Style Hanging Lamps of today are still hand crafted.  They are still copper foiled and soldered together.  Because they are hand crafted, colors and glass size can vary a little here and there. The end result is still jaw dropping beauty.   Just take a look at all the pieces required in just one lamp.  Hundreds.    AMAZING Art and Elegance for the home or office.

I never tire of the endless supply of talents, and ideas used in the creating  Tiffany Style Stained Glass Lamps and Panels.  All those well thought out patterns, and little pieces of cut stained glass , copper foiled and soldered together to create this wonder piece of art that when finished, is now an incredible  Lamp or a Window panel to catch the light or sun and change the ambiance of a room.

Louis Comfort Tiffany was the original brains behind these beauty’s and there were other talented names out there as well.  Now the same art is still going on, fortunately for us all.  We can pick up a number of these beauties up for a fraction of the cost of  the originals, not that there are any around  for purchase from the late 1800s.  Nor would you want to know the price tag of such a lamp.   Tiffany Style Table Lamps and Window Panels are still made with much of the same techniques that Louis Comfort Tiffany created,  and the Styles  keep getting better and better.

History of Art Nouveau

If you’re interested in art, it’s most than likely that you’re familiar with the Art Nouveau movement. This movement applies to everything from art and applied art to architecture. Its heyday came near the end of the 19th century and has been placed anywhere from 1890 to 1905. The movement is typically viewed as a reaction to the highly academic art that was being created throughout the 19th century. The most common themes throughout the movement are organic images. Most specifically, this includes floral and plant images.

Many consider Art Nouveau to be a highly stylized movement. To that end, it’s common to see flowing and curved lines in anything and everything Art Nouveau from the jewelry to the architectural styles. While it flourished most prevalently in Europe, it was seen and felt throughout the world. Because it was incorporated into so many different artistic expressions, Art Nouveau became a kind of lifestyle. One of the most representative products from the Art Nouveau movement was the Tiffany style table lamp, which utilizes those flowing lines and almost always depicts natural scenes captured and illuminated in stained glass.

Accent Lamps to Light the Way

I am not afraid of the dark.   I guess, I should be very thankful for that.   Not everyone is comfortable in the dark, even in their own home.   Understandably, a child might have a harder time with this area.

In every room of my house,  especially if I am having company over,  I have  little soft accent lamps to help light the room just enough to help you find your way and guide you to  the right door, room, bed, bathroom, a or hall way. Literally  every room in my home has one and they are on every evening.

Tiffany  Style Accent Lamps are so lovely for just about any room in your home, and are perfect for all homes that have  small children and could help them feel a little more comfortable walking in the dark.

At home, I have a very cool Tiffany Style Pedestal Lamp and not only is the lamp amazing, but it makes me look like I know how to decorate and have a green thumb.  The Tiffany Style Pedestal Lamps are show stoppers in a home and with a gorgeous plant placed on top,  this is one of the coolest corners in my home.

Shabby Chic is one of my favorite looks in a home.   There are not enough rooms in my life, to decorate and turn them into all the different ideas I have for  the perfect Shabby Chic room.  If  I owned a 15 room home, each room would  be so different from the next, with different colors,  but  they would still all be Shabby Chic.

At least one third of these room would have a couple of Tiffany Style Floor Lamps in them for one very good reason.  They are GORGEOUS and have a wonderful and elegant nostalgia appeal and they could really compliment  a Shabby Chic decor.  Just another idea, while your having fun decorating.

Spring is just around the corner and soon, the sun will be shinning a little more than it does in the winter.   Don’t get me wrong.   I will personally miss winter, as I am still morning the end of fall.    The fact is, spring will bring more sun and the promise of the bright summer days right behind.

This is when a Tiffany Style Window Panel will display its colors so lovely and bring a new soft glow to the home that might of been missing in the light of the  cooler months.  A Tiffany Style Window Panel is the next best thing to having a custom stained glass window look, without the expense.

Yes, it is almost Valentines Day.  Personally,  I love all the Reds and Roses,  and Hearts in all the windows,  just about every where.    I can also see how,  to another,  it goes unnoticed and  hints are lost in all these colorful displays around you.  I think it is because you are so much more original than the obvious chocolates  and  flowers to say I Love You.

Tiffany Style Table Lamps and  Tiffany Style Floor Lamps are rich in colors and styles to impress  and keep  a room full of  taste and romance.  A gift and jester to leave a real impression.   A beautiful Lamp and  piece of art to last a life time. Now that is an original way to say I Love You.
