Spring is just around the corner and soon, the sun will be shinning a little more than it does in the winter.   Don’t get me wrong.   I will personally miss winter, as I am still morning the end of fall.    The fact is, spring will bring more sun and the promise of the bright summer days right behind.

This is when a Tiffany Style Window Panel will display its colors so lovely and bring a new soft glow to the home that might of been missing in the light of the  cooler months.  A Tiffany Style Window Panel is the next best thing to having a custom stained glass window look, without the expense.

Decorating the New Office

When I was left in charge of creating a look for my very own office, I was thrilled. It would be the first time in my life that I had a work space. I felt like I had really earned this privilege with all the hard work that I had done in my life. What I wanted to do was create a classic feeling room that would allow me to meditate and work on some writing projects that I’ve been putting off for years.

In my opinion, the lighting creates the entire ambiance for a room. As such, the first thing that I did was purchase some Tiffany style floor lamps that I thought would be perfect for the effect that I was going for. I think I want some tapestries and a nice rug next, but the lighting is definitely one of the first things that I’m thinking about.

Mission Style Lamps, A More Conservative Touch

Tiffany Lighting for even the most conservative of taste, can still be a most elegant choice. I love sharing and talking lamps with my friends and family. I not only am in the business, and love all kinds of lighting , I also love finding out what your taste is. A friend of mine once told me that although she thought Tiffany Lamps were pretty and so colorful, the only ones that really caught her eye were the Mission style Lamp.

Mission Style Lamps are a very conservative and slightly more of a serious or simple approach to decorating with Tiffany Style Lighting. The line are strait, not so intricate, not so many different colors. Lots of earthy tones, white and creams. This was very appealing to her. What I thought was the perfect office Lamp, I now have a wider and better appreciation for. I love all the ideas that make us different and broaden our taste and views.MT21007

Floor Lamps Are Also Space Savers

Tiffany Style Floor LampsA floor lamp can be used in a small room and produce proper lighting without taking up the space of a Table Lamp. Save that small table space that you have for all the many things you may need that little table for. The remote, a book, snacks, a drink, you know. You could fit two Floor Lamps many times more easily in a room than one Table Lamp and still have plenty of room for the rest of your comforts.

Tiffany Style Floor Lamps not only produce excellent room lighting, they are Gorgeous and really perk up a small place with Elegance.  An instant look of designer talents, without real know how. Put a floor lamp to the side of , in back of , and between those few pieces that already take up plenty of room.   Just a little something to think about.

Authentic Elegance with Replica Products

tiffany style table lampsAlmost every woman has dreamed at one time or another about receiving something special from Tiffany’s. The store just seems to represent the epitome of beauty and elegance. Whether you’ve daydreamed about an extravagant engagement ring or you’ve fantasized about something more practical like a sterling silver keychain, these fantasies are often not realized because of the sizable price tags associated with those products.

But if you’ve found yourself eyeing Tiffany table lamps online and been surprised at how reasonable they are, it’s very likely that they are actually Tiffany style table lamps. These look exactly like the original, but they come with a much more reasonable price tag. They make lovely accents to any home, office, or bedroom. And if you’re unsure or put off by purchasing a replica rather than the real deal, it might make you feel better to know that many original Tiffany lamps are housed in museums. And if they are available to purchase, it’s usually through prestigious auction houses where they go for six or even seven figure sums. So go ahead and enjoy the style lamps!

Interior Decorating Basics

tiffany style light fixturesColors play an important role in the interior of a room. Warm shades and cool shades will have different effects. Playing with colors is a great way to transform a room. Of course, one has to make sure that the colors blend and balance each other.

You can paint one wall using one shade and another wall in a darker or lighter shade. Another way to play with color is to choose a monochromatic theme for the furniture but to select colorful decorations. The decorations may be Tiffany style light fixtures or a vibrant rug. Tiffany lamps, with their stained-glass effect, can make any room livelier and more inviting.

Floor Lamps Make A Big Difference Downstairs

Tiffany Style Floor LampsI live in a basement apartment and it tends to get really dark down there in the winter. The ceiling lights don’t seem to do much good for the overall lighting affect, so I have been looking at different types of lamps that might brighten up the place. My mom recommended I try adding a couple of tiffany style floor lamps to each room.

I took her suggestion and I have been happy with the light level ever since. Before adding the floor lamps I had to strain my eyes in order to read a book, and I had to keep the privacy shades up all the time unless I wanted it to be completely dim down there. I even feel a little bit more cheerful since I put in the extra lamps. I guess I should have done something a long time ago.

Symbol of an Artistic Movement

tiffany style lightingThe names of most artistic movements do little to convey the intense creative energy that flourished during a given time period. Art nouveau – French for “new art” – is no different. Although we can no longer accurately refer to art nouveau as a “new” branch of the decorative arts, its impact lingers in architecture, furniture and décor with highly-stylized, floral elements.

The Tiffany style lighting is perhaps the most emblematic example of American art nouveau. Louis Comfort Tiffany, a New York City glassworker, infused his stained glass techniques with intricate art nouveau flourishes. Tiffany began producing lamps just before the turn of the 20th century, and Tiffany style lamps maintain a reputation for detailed design work to this day.
